Privacy & storage

Your spreadsheets

Excel and CSV files are read locally in your browser. RowsAndSeats does not upload your spreadsheets or seating plans to a server. Exports are created in your browser and downloaded to your device.

Your saved plan

Your current plan is saved in this browser’s localStorage. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to open it. To remove it, open Privacy & storage on the planner and choose Clear saved plan & reset sample.

Clearing browser data also removes the saved plan. Download a spreadsheet if you want to keep a separate copy; deleting a saved plan does not delete files you have already downloaded.

Website analytics

When enabled on the hosted site, Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page views and performance without cookies or tracking individual visitors. Local previews do not include an analytics script. Your spreadsheet contents are not sent to analytics.
