START WITHOUT A SPREADSHEET

Create a simple layout.

Build your rows in seconds. You can export to Excel to add more sections or fine-tune positions.

Use 0 for no aisle. Rows are lettered A–Z.

This replaces your current plan. Export it first if you need to keep a copy.

From Excel to event day.

  1. Start with your seat list.

Each line is one seat. Include Section, Row and Seat, or map your own column names. Status is optional and defaults to available; Accessible defaults to no. Use the template for a ready-made example.

  2. Check your plan.

Import both grid coordinates to preserve positions, or generate a simple layout from Row and Seat. Sections follow file order from left to right with one empty column between them. Matching row names align; rows follow first appearance. Numeric seat labels sort by value, other labels keep file order, and shorter rows are centered (left-biased when needed). Check the result, then select seats to update their status or accessibility.

  3. Take it to the venue.

Download an image, print a PDF, or export an updated spreadsheet that you can import again.

Up to 1,000 seats on a 100 × 100 grid. Excel sheets must be named Seats or Seat. Generated positions are a new layout, not a reconstruction of a venue. Odd/even seating sides, curved rows and colored Excel seating charts are not inferred. Export to Excel to fine-tune positions, then import again.
